Region’s Development Foundation ProRegio is a non-governmental organization established in December 2004. The foundation activity is especially noticeable in range of innovation. Foundation specializes in fundraising for scientific research that introduces modern solutions in science and economy.

The ProRegio founders’ objectives since the time of establishing the foundation has always been to promote and develop innovatory economy, science, and society capable of effective employment of their own potential.

Besides fundraising, the Foundation carries out a number of trainings within European Union issues and provides comprehensive information about European resources of financing the activity of R&D’s, NGO’s, territorial self-governments, and small and middle businesses.

The activity of the Foundation is now the answer for the deviances bid to Poland as a European Union member by renewed Lisbon Strategy: Sustainable development of regions, building Information Society, and development of innovatory and competitive economy.

As a non-governmental organization in order to implement many partner enterprises the ProRegio Foundation is especially interested in cooperation with number of institutions inter alia: business environment and Research & Development sector institution as well as other non-governmental organizations.
